Tree Raising Ceremony
The Lemoore Recreation Center, The Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department and the Sarah Mooney Museum will be hosting the annual tree raising ceremony in downtown Lemoore on Sunday, November 30th. The event will be from 12 noon to 4 pm and all activities will take place on D Street between Martin and Fox Streets. There will be a petting zoo, pictures with Santa, a Craft Show, a Zumbathon at 12 noon and an official ceremony to honor the Volunteer Fire Department at 2 pm. We are having a community food drive, bring you nonperishable food at the collection site near the tree. For more information call 924-6767.
Breakfast with Santa
The Lemoore Recreation Department and the Lemoore Lions Club is gearing up for “Breakfast with Santa”. In order to accommodate more families, this event is moving to the Lemoore Recreation Center located at 721 W. Cinnamon Drive. On Sunday, December 7th bring the family to enjoy a pancake breakfast, pictures with Santa, Santa’s Shop where children can buy $3 gifts for the family and a craft corner. Hours are 8 am to 12 noon. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 years of age and children 4 and under are free. For more information call 924-6767.
Sweets for Seniors
The Lemoore Recreation Department will be hosting “Sweets for Seniors” on Friday, December 12th at the Civic Auditorium in Lemoore. This event begins at 8 am and is free to all seniors. Seniors can enjoy a free pancake breakfast, specialty desserts from West Hills Culinary and entertainment from Jamison High School. Every senior will receive a gift. For more information call 924-6767
