Lemoore's varsity boys' basketball team is on sort of a roll. After beating Hanford West in the West Yosemite League opener earlier this week, the Tigers beat Hoover 61-43 in the Holiday Invitational Tournament on Friday. Lemoore will play again tonight (Dec. 20) at Hoover High school.

The Lemoore High School varsity boys’ basketball team got off to a solid start in the West Yosemite League with an easy 73-40 win over Hanford West on the Huskies home court. The victory was a sort of showcase of just how well the Tigers may be this season.

The Tigers are 4-3 on the young season and thanks to Tuesday’s easy win are 1-0 in the WYL.

Leading the Tigers’ charge against Sierra Pacific were Matt Borba and Jaylen English, each of whom scored 16 points. Allen Perryman, fresh from his exploits on the football field, contributed 13 points to the onslaught.
