The Lemoore boys' water polo team after winning this past weekend.

The Lemoore varsity water polo boys’ team took first place this weekend at the Fresno Fall Kick-Off Water Polo Tournament, held at Fresno High School. There were 18 local teams competing in the prestigious event.

The tournament was a round robin, culminating in a championship game between Lemoore High School and Edison High School. Lemoore remained undefeated on the year, beating their Tiger counterparts 8-6. It was an all-around team effort on scoring, in addition to great goal tending by Trey Pietsch and Chandler Grzybicki. The 7-0 Tigers will play Reedley on Tuesday, September 8 at Lemoore High School pool.
