“It’s very exciting to have a baby born on New Year’s,” her mother says. “Her birthday will be celebrated by everyone!”
Evalynn is among the last New Year’s Day babies born at Central Valley General Hospital, since Adventist Health is moving to the new Family Birth Center in early March 2016. The center is adjacent to Adventist Medical Center – Hanford and will replace the current birth center at Central Valley General Hospital. It features 11 private labor and delivery rooms, two surgery suites, a six-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) operated by Valley Children’s Healthcare, 16 postpartum rooms, a café, gift shop and more!
