Local officials dedicate new playground at Kings Lions Park June 17

The City of Lemoore cut the ribbon for its latest addition to the Kings Lions Park. Several city officials were on hand Tuesday, May 17, at about 5 p.m. to cut the ribbon for a new playground area at the expansive park. The park also includes lighted softball fields and dog parks.

A grant from the State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development, in the amount of $120,475 funded the new facility. Prior to the grant, Kings Lions Complex Park did not have amenities for young children to play.
