Upon the officers’ arrival on scene they located the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Lopez, who according to police admitted to being the driver of the vehicle. Lopez displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.

After performing a series of field sobriety tests Lopez was subsequently arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at $5000.  

There were no injuries as a result of the collision. Severe damage was caused to one apartment, one parked vehicle, and the parking stall's overhead structure.
