Lemoore finished the season in third place in the West Yosemite League with a 7-5 mark. Redwood High School won the league title with an 11-1 mark. Hanford West finished two games behind in second place with a 9-3 mark.
Lemoore will head into the playoffs on a winning note, completing its a regular season Thursday night, with a win over Hanford in four sets, 25-14, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15. The Tigers won three of the final four games to lend credence to their quest for a spot in the playoffs.
On Wednesday night, Lemoore lost to Golden West in five close sets, 27-25, 19-25, 25-22, 19-25, and 15-13 in the closer.
In Tuesday’s finale against the Bullpups, Annemarie Schalde had 12 kills to lead her team to the win. Savannah Hill contributed 20 assists to the win while Madison Deathridge had 10 kills.
