The female told detectives that she knew Martinez and went to his residence during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and told police that, while there, Martinez forced her to have sexual intercourse with him.

Lemoore detectives investigated the case and subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Martinez. The arrest warrant was issued for the charges of rape and oral copulation. On January 4, at about 9 a.m., Lemoore police officers arrested Martinez at his residence. Martinez was transported and booked into the Kings County Jail and his bail was set at $100,000.
