The boys are 7-20 overall and 2-9 in the West Yosemite League and need to play at least .500 to earn a spot in the playoffs. Hanford is 15-11 and 7-4 overall, currently is mired in second place, one game behind Golden West and Redwood, both at 8-3 in the WYL.
On Friday, the boys’ team dropped a 57-50 decision to Golden West, while the girls dropped a 54-48 decision to the Trailblazers. Lemoore, at 5-6 in league play, needs to beat Hanford on Tuesday to earn a spot in the playoffs.
Hanford is 11-0 in the WYL and 19-8 overall. Redwood sits in second place.
