It was at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 10) that officers responded to the apartment and found the young black male in a bedroom – the victim of a stabbing. Life-saving efforts were started and continued by police officers until ambulance personnel and volunteer firemen arrived to help.

The victim was transported to Adventist Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

As of Thursday, the Lemoore Police Department had not indicated it had any suspects and was asking the public for help, seeking anyone with any information to contact the police department, specifically Corporal Matt Smith (matthew.smith@lemoorepd.com) or Sergeant Mathew Gonsalves (Mathew.gonsalves@lemoorepd.com).
