Dear Mayor Madrigal, City Council, City Staff and the Lemoore Community: It has been a pleasure to serve as Lemoore's City Manager and live in a community I truly called home.

I am proud of the important work we completed during my tenure as your City Manager. The projects we commenced together will leave a legacy for the City, including developing the City's first long-range capital plan (the five year and beyond Community Investment Program), delivering a balanced budget for the first time in many years, embarking on several new initiatives in each department as outlined in the City Council’s first five year Strategic Initiatives plan. The in-progress projects and improvements will serve the community for decades into the future. This work could only be accomplished through a cooperative relationship between the elected leaders, City staff and management.

The City of Lemoore has a strong foundation and is on its way to become a premier employer and community in Kings County, through reviewing employee compensation and setting high standards for local government services. It was my goal to add value to the organization and community as I tried mightily to leave the City organization and this wonderful community better from my public service.

It has been honor to serve as Lemoore's City Manager. The City of Lemoore has a tremendous staff of leaders, managers and employees at all levels of the organization. It is through their skill and dedication that the City accomplished so much and will continue to move forward.

I wish the City Council, staff and the community best wishes in moving forward. Thank you for allowing me to serve the City of Lemoore.

Respectfully,

Andi Welsh
