Drew Gobby and Spencer Denney continue competing in Central Section tennis playoffs.

Lemoore’s top doubles team will travel to Mission Oak High School on Friday to play in the Area Match. The duo easily continued their quest for a Central Section championship by winning three matches over the course of Friday (May 12) Saturday, clinching an Area appearance on Saturday.

Drew Gobby and Spencer Denney won their matches in convincing fashion defeating a Granite Hills duo in their first match on Friday 6-1, 6-1 to continue to a Saturday match where they crushed a Monache team 6-0, 6-0.

Gobby and Denney followed that up with their Area qualifying win over an El Diamante team 6-1, 6-1.

Lemoore’s other doubles team of Earl Magno and Marjaby Bresenio won their opener but lost the second match 4-6, 2-6 to miss out on a trip to Mission Oak.
