Redwood's unbeaten boys' water polo team remained perfect in the West Yosemite League, defeating a talented Lemoore squad Thursday in Visalia 14-5. Lemoore hosts Mt. Whitney Tuesday night (Oct. 17) at 5:30 p.m.

 The loss dropped the Tigers to 6-2 in league play, their only two losses at the hands of the Rangers.

The Tigers fell to 15-6 overall while Redwood improved to 9-0 in league play and 14-2 overall. 

Lemoore's varsity girls' team dropped a 16-3 match to Redwood, falling to 1-7 in the WYL and 9-16 overall.

Just last week Lemoore’s talented team improved to 6-1 in West Yosemite League action following its 14-3 Thursday night clubbing of Hanford West in the Tigers’ pool. 

In that game, Cameron Olson led the way with seven goals and a pair of steals.

Olson got plenty of help Thursday night, including a pair of goals each from Connor Deburger and Riley Gibson. Gibson also had two assists.

Spencer Denney, Chris Bonham, and Max Tashima each scored a goal. Denney also finished with three assists, and Bonham had a pair of assists. Tashima had two steals on the night.
