Kings County deputies arrested a Santa Rosa Rancheria resident for possession of stolen property and violating his Post Release Community Supervision terms.

On Oct. 30 sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Rancheria following a report of a stolen off-road ATV. The rightful owner apparently found the ATV and called law enforcement.

The ATV and a sand-dragster were stolen while enclosed in a box trailer the previous weekend on East Lacey Blvd and reported to the Hanford Police Department.

After recovering the ATV, deputies discovered the dragster in a backyard near Coyote Court. The dragster was stripped of its motor, valued at $30,000.

With the assistance of tribal security staff, deputies determined that 29-year-old Brandon Angel was in possession of the ATV and dragster. He was arrested without incident nearby and booked into the Kings County Jail for possession of stolen property and violating his Post Release Community Supervision terms. He is currently being held without bail.

The investigation continues, and anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff's office tip line at 559-852-2999.
