He was born at home, the 13-pound baby of parents Ludvina (Rocha) and Joe Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Frank and Joe Garcia and sister Mayme (Garcia) Victorino.

Danny was best remembered as a carpenter with whom he and brothers Frank and Joe built and remodeled several homes in the Lemoore area. He married Del and raised his two children, Mark and Melissa (Garcia) Goralka, in the original house he built.

Survivors include his wife Del, children Mark and Melissa, Mark Goralka (son-in-law) and two grandchildren, Connor and Carter.
Danny was a proud member of the IDES in Stratford. He enjoyed many Festas at the Stratford Hall and was also a proud parishioner of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church. He loved family vacations including regular trips to Morro Bay.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel in Lemoore. A Vigil Rosary Service will be held at Saint Peter’s Church in Lemoore on December 12, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Lemoore Cemetery.
