Let the games begin. The City of Lemoore's Fourth of July celebration started bright and early Wednesday morning with a 5K run, and 3 K walk as organizers say about 100 persons showed up for the annual event, which began at Lemoore City Park around 7:30 a.m.

Over 100 persons pre-purchased wristbands that gave the user access to the plethora of water slides and other activities spread throughout the park. The annual event is sponsored by the City of Lemoore Recreation Department.
