About 200 persons attended a landmark event on Thursday, July 19 when the United States Navy helped Naval Air Station Lemoore celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, formally the Naval Hospital Lemoore.

In addition to the 200 persons who attended, the Naval Health Clinic’s commanding officer, Capt. Kristen Atterbury and Navy Surgeon General Vice Adm. Forrest Faison, were on hand to help commemorate the day.

The 50th birthday celebration was held to commemorate the Naval Health Clinic for five decades of caring for Sailors, Marines, retirees, and their Families, and for fifty years of being part of the local community.
