Dan Myrick hopes to get his first local win this week. Just a few weeks ago, he made his first-ever appearance at Merced Speedway and left with the Main Event winner's trophy. Dan only trails Rod Baronian by eight points in a close battle for second. He isn't too far ahead of Ryan Doglione, who is five points behind him in fourth place.
The competitors enjoy the opportunity to compete on Lemoore’s track. In fact, Chris Goldsmith stepped forward to repair a damaged Turn 4 fence after the most recent race to make sure things would be ready to go for the next run. Some of the drivers who hope for a great day on Sunday include Goldsmith, Jeff Durant, Ben Davis and Randy Brown. Merced stars Jennifer Corder and Shawn DePriest are two others are anticipated to compete on Sunday.
The Sunday show will feature time trials on the clock, a trophy dash, heat races, B main (if needed) and the Main Event. It will be a relaxing and fun afternoon for the family to enjoy. For further information, go to www.centralvalleyministocks.com.
