The local shop wishes to remain anonymous. The business, according to the police, suffered a significant loss. Local police are urging anyone with information related to the case, contact the police department and ask for Detective Sergeant D. Santos at 559-924-9574.
It was on Aug. 27 at about 3 a.m. that police officers responded to an alarm at the closed business. When they arrived, officers found the back door open. They checked the store and discovered it had been robbed. Police failed to find any suspects.
Detectives determined that at least five suspects were involved. They broke into the downtown business by cutting large holes in the roof with power tools and were in the store for several hours before departing.
A suspect activated an alarm as the burglars left the scene.
