The Tigers have this Friday off before taking on the Rangers next week.
The Tigers will finally return to the friendly confines of Tiger Stadium on Oct. 5 when they host El Diamante, a team that has also struggled in the pre-season, as of this week, posting a 1-3 record.
On Friday in Tulare, The Tribe completely shut down the Tigers, giving up just 228 total yards. Lemoore’s talented back, Brandon Hargrove, the Tigers’ top offensive player, had a mediocre night, rushing for just 20 yards (five carries) and catching one pass for seven yards.
Quarterback Justin Holaday picked up some of the slack, passing for 119 yards and rushing for 46 to lead the Tigers. William Kloster, normally a standout on defense (he led the Tigers in tackles again Friday night) caught three passes for 81 yards. He also rushed for 14 yards.
