Lemoore is 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the WYL and has lost four straight since opening the season with a pair of home victories.
The Tigers took the early lead thanks to a 78-yard interception return by Damian Goudeau after a scoreless first period.
Redwood responded with a two-yard TD from Gabe Vasquez and then a Julian Sanchez 23-yard run to put the Rangers up 14-7 at the half.
In the third Sanchez scored from one-yard out – following a long drive – to give his Rangers’ team a 21-7 lead going into the final period.
Lemoore’s only offensive touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a Brandon Hargrove 33-yard pass from Justin Holaday to cut the gap to 21-14. It happened early in the fourth quarter, giving the Tigers plenty of time to make up the touchdown difference.
However, the Tigers couldn’t quite complete the comeback, despite a drive that ended on a fourth down from the Redwood 20.
Hargrove, while held in check on the ground, hauled in five passes for 105 yards, including his 33-yard touchdown reception in the fourth. Holaday completed 12 of 26 for 170 yards with a pair of interceptions.
