In addition to the $1,375 raised at the door by the more than 275 people attending, the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tribe matched the funds and rounded the total to $3,500. Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino Assistant General Manager Bill Davis presented the check to Staff Sargent Holmes.
“We thank everyone for this generous donation,” said SSGT Holmes. “The money raised will stay in Kings County and will benefit those children who are less fortunate, allowing them to have a great Christmas.”
The next community breakfast will be held on Friday, December 14, and will benefit Valley Animal Haven. Tachi Palace hosts a monthly community breakfast that features a buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes. Attendees are encouraged to make a minimum donation of $5 and all contributions benefit a featured organization. For more information, visit tachipalace.com.
