Tiger water polo teams struggle as teams travel and prepare for tournament action

Lemoore’s girls’ water polo team is 1-4 on the season as it prepares for its next match on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Reedley High School. In recent tournament action, the Tigers defeated Pioneer Valley 8-1 before dropping a 5-1 decision to El Diamante on Aug. 23, a 9-3 loss to Tulare Union, and a 6-5 loss to Mission Oak High School.

The Lemoore ladies fell to 1-4 on the season as they prepare for a Wednesday (Sept. 4 ) match at Reedley High School.

The boys’ water polo team is winless so far, winning one game and tying Monache in its season opener 0-0. The Tigers also lost 17-8 at Kingsburg High School on Au. 22.

The boys were slated to compete in Fresno’s Fall Kick-Off Classic today (Aug. 20) and tomorrow. Lemoore travels to Reedley on Sept. 4 for another non-league match.
