Lemoore officers were at the school conducting a presentation when an adult male walked onto the campus. Officers contacted the male and determined he was not supposed to be on the campus.
The officers asked the male suspect to leave numerous times, but he refused. Officers attempted to detain the male for suspicion of trespassing.
The man, 22-year-old Ezequiel Walthing Jr. of Lemoore, resisted the officers, and a short struggle ensued. Walthing was arrested and taken into custody. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was booked into the Kings County Jail for trespassing on school grounds and resisting an officer. With the best interests of the students in mind, police officers canceled the rest of the presentation.
