The Tachi Palace Casino Resort continues to open additional amenities while keeping the safety of its guests and employees in mind. For starters, the Coyote Grille opened for takeout, and table games are scheduled to be available for play Thursday, June 11, starting at 9 a.m.

“We had a very smooth and successful reopening with guest safety as our top priority. The 23,000 square foot expansion of the gaming floor, which allowed for additional space between machines, was well received,” said Michael Olujic, the local resort’s general manager. “We plan on continuing to exceed expectations as we reopen additional dining and gaming options.”

Coyote Grille, perhaps casino resort’s most popular dining choice, now includes a touch-free menu available by scanning a QR Code. For those not familiar with that technology, disposable paper menus are available for one-time use. At this time, food and beverages are available to go only with properly spaced seating available for convenience. Coyote Grille hours are Sunday - Thursday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 6 a.m. to midnight.

The reimagined Marketplace at Porkchop Hill opens in the next two weeks with pre-made and limited made-to-order items. The former buffet has been transformed into a convenient, grab-n-go, all takeout dining option that features pre-packaged salads, Panini sandwiches, a variety of hot entrees, and whole pizzas. As a “Welcome Back” special, guests receive a free gelato and 22-ounce beverage with every purchase.

All beverages will be dispensed by staff and are no longer self-serve. Food selections will be placed in a bag at the checkout register, and for convenience, tables in the Marketplace will be available. All tables are appropriately spaced for social distancing and will be sanitized between uses.

The table games area, which has been reconfigured to feature one large pit area to ensure proper social distancing between tables, is scheduled to resume 24/7 operations on June 11. Games include Blackjack, Spanish 21, 3 Card Poker, Fortune Pai Gow Poker, EZ Pai Gow Poker, Mini-Baccarat with dragon bonus, Richer Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Safety measures for table games include a three-player limit and plexiglass barriers separating both the dealer and other players. Also, guests will notice daily sanitization of chips, sanitization of the player areas in-between player sessions, and an increase in refreshing card decks.

Masks continue to be required, and patrons must be 21 or older to enter the property. At each of the three main public entrances, infrared cameras are necessary to determine the body temperatures of associates and guests. If anyone exceeds the temperature limit, they will not be allowed to enter the property, and anyone visibly sick will be asked to leave.

In addition, numerous hand sanitizing stations, including mounted ones on the ticket machines and in all elevators, can be found throughout the property and are clearly marked, making them easy to locate.

“Bingo and the Coyote Entertainment Center are still being evaluated for a potential opening date based on state and federal guidelines,” said Olujic. “We feel a slow and steady approach to reopening our entire property is the most responsible and safe way to move forward.”
