The police officer took 36-year-old suspect, Ruben Gonzalez Jr. of Parlier, into custody. Gonzalez Jr. was discovered to have an outstanding Felony warrant from Fresno County. The officer took Gonzalez Jr. into custody without incident. 

Officers searched Gonzalez Jr.’s vehicle after he was arrested and located multiple items of contraband, including a semi-automatic pistol, ammunition, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. 

Gonzalez Jr. was booked into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon inside a vehicle, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm as well as ammunition, committing a felony while released on bail, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the outstanding warrant out of Fresno County.
