Kings County health officials say Blueprint for Safer Economy to end on June 15

On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) will remove the Blueprint criteria for the State of California and all local health jurisdictions. The action will remove all regulations requiring physical distancing, capacity restrictions and indoor vs. outdoor requirements will be removed.

"We’re at a place in the pandemic where the requirements of the past can be lifted and State and local officials will be watching COVID-19 cases closely and monitoring for emerging trends," said Edward Hill, Director of the Kings County Department of Public Health (KCDPH). “We encourage Kings County residents to continue following preventative measures that we know are effective at stopping the spread of COVID-19 which include getting vaccinated, cooperating with contact tracers, and testing often if unvaccinated.”
