Following a traditional prayer ceremony and then a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Tachi-Yokut Tribe blessed the newly renovated Coyote Entertainment Center's reopening. It then allowed a sneak peek for tribal members and the press.

A small ceremony honoring former Tribal Chief Clarence Atwell Jr. was held, who many indicate was one of the instrumental players in the building of the original casino and hotel. Almost as soon as the ceremonial ribbon fell, visitors toured the newly renovated facility, had a little something to eat, and either took part in some of the games or maybe bowled a few games.

Officially, the expansive, modern Entertainment Center plans to reopen to the public on Friday, July 2, at 3 p.m.

Palace officials say the Entertainment Center will be open Fridays from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with expanded hours to be announced soon.

The state-of-the-art entertainment center, located adjacent to Tachi Palace Casino Resort, first opened in November 2018 and features nearly 90,000 square feet of family-friendly activities and fun, including movie theaters, bowling, arcade, and game stations, plus food and refreshment options.

“We took the time during the COVID shutdown to re-evaluate our offerings and made numerous improvements to the Coyote Entertainment Center,” said Michael Olujic, the Tachi Palace Casino Resort general manager. “We opened up the walls for better views, made greater use of the space, and added amenities that appeal to all ages, including a new e-gaming area.”

The newest addition to the Entertainment Center is the e-gaming area in the Ch’ox’l Eagle Lounge.  Guests will have the opportunity to rent 20 types of various electronic devices and gaming consoles such as Xbox and more. The popular arcade also has been enlarged with the addition of the latest games and updated prizes.

The Red Bud Bar, formerly the former billiards bar, has been refreshed with broader views and incorporates more than 10 big-screen televisions and other bar games, including darts and shuffleboard. Along with food and refreshment services, there is also a dedicated DJ or live acoustic band.

The Tachi Lanes bowling alley featuring 30 lanes, six of which are semi-private,  has been reconfigured to include an innovative, open snack bar area from which spectators can watch all the action.

The venue also is home to eight movie theaters at Palace Cinemas, with nearly 1,000 luxury seats and Christie Pure laser cinema projectors, and QSC Theater and

Dolby Atmos cinema sound systems, screening the latest releases. The concessions will include traditional offerings such as freshly popped popcorn, assorted candies, and beverages.
