Based on the violations, the deputy made stopped the Pontiac. The deputy identified the driver as Abelardo Cisneros. Initially, the deputy stated that Cisneros used a false name, and after a short investigation, the deputy learned his actual name.
The deputy discovered Cisneros while driving with a suspended license. As he spoke with the suspect, the deputy suspected that Cisneros may have been under the influence of a controlled substance, possibly Methamphetamine.
The deputy arrested Abelardo, and during a search, he located over nine grams of Methamphetamine in Cisneros’ pants pocket and over three grams of heroin in his jacket pocket. Kings County Dispatch advised the deputy that Cisneros had a San Luis Obispo County warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was for sales of narcotics, and the bail was $100,000. Officials with San Luis Obispo requested Cisneros be issued a citation for the warrant.
During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, deputies found a backpack that contained two additional bags of Methamphetamine with a suspected weight of over 25 grams.
The deputy also arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Shannon Sanda, suspected of having been under the influence of a controlled substance. After her arrest, Sanda informed the deputy that she had Fentanyl hidden in her bra. The Fentanyl was later removed with the assistance of A detentions deputy at the Kings County Jail removed the drug from her bra.
Deputies booked Cisneros into Kings County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, providing a false name, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released.
Law enforcement booked Sanda into the Kings County Jail on the charges of possession of a controlled substance and has been under the influence of a controlled substance. She was also later released.
