The Lady Tigers also lost Tuesday night, falling 66-52 at Hanford High School. The Tigers fell to 7-11 overall and are 2-2 in the WYL. The Lemoore girls travel to Redwood this week for a Thursday showdown.
The Tigers broke it open early, scoring the first nine points before the Bullpups managed to score on a three-point field goal. The Tigers Caleb Goudeau scored the first four points to lead the Tigers. Demel Turner tossed in a two-pointer, and Deandre Johnson followed with a three-point field goal to take the quick 9-0 lead.
The Tigers led 25-21 at the half, but the Bullpups turned things around to take the lead and ensure a 51-42 victory.
Lemoore fell to 11-9 overall and is currently 1-3 in the WYL as the Tigers hope to turn things around Thursday night with another home contest against Redwood High School. Hanford is 2-2 in the WYL and 13-8 overall.
Mt. Whitney currently leads the league with a perfect 5-0 WYL mark and a 23-0 season record.
