There were happy moments as WHC Chancellor Kristen Clark gives high fives to students while walking out of the Golden Eagle Arena.

It was a packed house at the West Hills College Lemoore Golden Eagle Arena Friday (May 27) as hundreds of the school's grads packed into the modern arena as friends, family, and loved ones looked on.

James Preston, the school's president, delivered the opening remarks, and Chancellor Kristen Clark gave high fives to graduates while walking out of the arena after the end of the ceremony. Graduates showed their diplomas to family and friends as they left the arena.

It was indeed a popular event in Lemoore Friday night as the wait to enter the arena took some time. The ceremony was delayed about 10 minutes from the posted start time.

Featured student speakers included Ashley Taylor, the college's student president, and Academic Senate President Rene Paredes delivered remarks.

Longtime WHC board member and current president of the board, Mark McKean, helped hand out diplomas.
