Over 200 vehicles made their way to the West Hills College Lemoore campus this week for the school's monthly food drive grocery distribution. According to school officials, this month's food distribution attracted a big turnout of local volunteers, school staff, and students who greeted the large turnout.

Future monthly distributions are scheduled for Monday, August 22, Monday, September 19, and Monday, October 17. According to WHC Lemoore President James Preston, the school is working on dates for November and December.

"Yesterday, we had 237 cars come through our drive-thru, which will serve 691 members of those households within our community," said Preston. "We partner with KCAO (Kings Community Action Organization) and the Central California Food Bank for the monthly distributions."
