The Hanford-based San Joaquin Valley National Weather Service reported that local residents should expect more rain for the West Coast and the San Joaquin Valley this week. While Hanford’s local weather service predicts a partly sunny day Thursday, officials expect patch fog Thursday night and the chance of rain and patch fog on Friday with a high of 61 degrees.

More rain is expected Friday night that could continue through Monday. Weather forecasters predict heavy rainfall Saturday and Sunday nights.

The weather service is also predicting rain much of next week as well, all along the West Coast. The West Coast will continue to be stuck in a stormy pattern throughout the weekend, with two low-pressure systems expected to impact the coast. Heavy snowfalls are also expected for the Sierra Nevada mountains.
