A talented and hungry Tiger basketball team continued its winning ways Friday night in the Lemoore High School Event Center as the potent Tiger team humbled visiting Tulare Western in a West Yosemite League showdown, outscoring the Mustangs 67-53 to improve to 4-0 in league play and 14-6 overall.

The Tigers had a non-league game against Bakersfield Christian on Saturday, Jan. 21. Lemoore will travel to Hanford on Tuesday (Jan. 24) for a showdown with the Bullpups at 7:30 p.m.

Kaden Lopes and Ty Chambers each scored 14 points to lead the Tigers Friday night. Kaleb Goudeau chipped in with 11 points as he quickly got past Mustang defenders.

The Tigers led early, outscoring Tulare 20-9 in the first quarter before letting up a bit in the second period when the Mustangs outscored Lemoore 15-9 and went into the half trailing 29-24.

However, the Tigers shut Tulare down in the second half, outscoring the Mustangs 38-29.
