The District B vacancy was vacated by former Lemoore City Councilmember James Chaney, who resigned recently due to a move outside the city limits. Councilmembers are required to reside within the district’s defined area.

City officials this week indicated that the Lemoore City Council will accept applications through March 31 at 4 p.m. for citizens who reside in District B to apply for the vacant seat.

Those persons who reside in District B must submit an application in person to the Lemoore City Clerk, at 711 West Cinnamon Drive, or via email to cityclerk@lemoore.com
