It was also homecoming night for the talented Tigers as one of their own, Kobe Green, a key cog in Lemoore’s drive to another WYL title, was elected Homecoming King during the game’s halftime.
The school's student body duly selected Green and Homecoming Queen Ella May Campos.
Lemoore hopes to improve on its overall record this Friday when it hosts the Dinuba Emperors in Tiger Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
Dinuba is coming off a 32-20 win over Tulare Western on Thursday night.
The Tigers know how to pour on the points. Lemoore’s Trevon Gaffney got the ball rolling when he ran the ball into the endzone after a blocked punt by Kiontre Harris in the opening minutes of Friday night’s league contest.
Harris also scored on an interception return as the Tigers took charge of the contest early.
Lemoore passed for 158 yards on the night and rushed for 207 in the big win over visiting Mission Oak.
