Lemoore’s players assured themselves of a title tilt, easily dispatching its league foes, culminating in a 29-0 pasting of visiting Tulare Western on Friday night. After playing Tulare to a first-quarter tie, the Tigers rolled over the visitors 29-0, scoring 15 fourth-quarter points to earn a shot at the league title against the Bullpups on Friday night.
The 7-2 Tigers will be taking on a solid 8-1 Bullpups’ team whose only loss came at the hands of Frontier High School – a 35-6 loss.
Lemoore and Hanford blitzed through the WYL campaign, putting together perfect 4-0 records.
For the Tigers, Damien Hernandez pounded out 55 yards rushing to lead the Tigers’ ground game. As a team, Lemoore posted a game-high 184 yards on the ground. He also scored a pair of touchdowns to cement the Tigers' win.
