The FFA held its annual Greenhand and Chapter Degree banquet for all first-and-second-year Lemoore FFA members on Wednesday, November 6.
The banquet was organized and by the Greenhand officers who opened and closed the meeting. Salas spoke to the students and parents gathered about the vitality of the agriculture industry and the importance of being involved in the FFA, as well as the possibility of Governor Brown cutting funding for FFA at the state level, something and that everyone with in any interest in agriculture and supporters of the FFA should be concerned.
Boswell’s David McEuen made a generous donation of $1,000 to the chapter. Boswell Company has continually donated money to FFA for over 45 years With 289 students receiving their Greenhand degrees and 112 students earning their chapter degrees, the Lemoore FFA is only growing and improving.
