The Lemoore Police officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Dodge Intrepid in the area of 19th Ave, and Cinnamon Drive in Lemoore for failing to stop at a stop sign at that intersection.
The driver of the Dodge failed to yield when the Corporal attempted to make the traffic stop and instead began to flee. The officer immediately pursued him in a chase that lasted approximately 44 seconds and covered a distance of approximately 1.6 miles though the
City of Lemoore.
The pursuit ended on Club Drive just east of North Lemoore Ave, when the driver of the Dodge lost control of the vehicle while attempting to make a turn onto Club Drive from N. Lemoore Ave. The driver, after losing control of the vehicle, struck a parked vehicle.

The suspect was identified as Tyron Marcell Beamon, age 41, from Lemoore.
During the investigation, Lemoore Police Officers determined that the vehicle Beamon was driving had been stolen. A warrants check through the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System also revealed that Beamon had two active arrest warrants from San Bernardino County with a total bail of $300,000 and one active arrest warrant out of KernCounty with a bail of $35,000.
In addition to the stolen vehicle charge, Beamon was found to been driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Beamon's license was suspended. During this incident Beamon also violated a domestic violence restraining order by entering the residence of an individual that was a protected person in that order. Beamon was booked into the Kings County Jail on the following charges with a bail set at $75,000 in addition to the $335,000 bail from the arrest warrants: evading a police officer; driving while under the influence; suspended license, car theft, violation of a restraining order and resisting or obstructing a police officer.
