Adventist Health, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is reaching out to older adults who would like to learn how to Eat Smart and Live Strong.

A registered dietitian from Adventist Health / Central Valley Network will visit a Senior Center at View Road Apartments, 602 9 ½ Ave., in Hanford, and offer free and fun activities every Monday in October.

The gatherings begin at 10:30 a.m. in the dining hall.

“I’ll discuss easy ways to make smart food choices, such as incorporating more fruits and vegetables in one’s diet,” says Goodstein. “I’ll also demonstrate stretches and exercises that are simple for those who are 60 years and older.”

Guests will even have a chance to win door prizes. To learn more about the workshops, please call 559-537-0083 or email
