Faster emergency care, fewer re-admissions and increased patient satisfaction are among the achievements that Adventist Health/Central Valley Network was recognized for by CEP America -- one of the leading providers of acute care management and staffing solutions in the nation.

During its 40th celebration in Los Angeles on Sept. 28, CEP America named the Central Valley Network the “Practice of the Year,” based on the extensive integration that takes place within the network to care for patients through its many service lines, such as the nursing units and emergency departments at Adventist Medical Centers in Hanford, Reedley and Selma and its many Physicians Network offices and Community Care clinics in more than 20 Valley communities.

“We’ve seen vast improvements in turnaround times, readmissions, patient experience and quality measures,” says Dr. Imamu Tomlinson, Chief of Staff for the network’s Consolidated Medical Staff.

This was the first year the award was given to a network of integrated multispecialty practices.
