Fresno State's Army ROTC commissions Lemoore grad in January 22 event

Fresno State’s Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) commissioned two new graduates as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army January 22 at the Clovis Veteran’s Memorial District Auditorium (808 4th St). One of those grads was Lemoore High School alumnus.

Senior cadets Adrian Dotimas, a criminology major from Lemoore, and Seth Newark, a kinesiology major from Merced, were commissioned by Maj. Boyce Buckner, chair and professor of the University’s Department of Military Science and Leadership. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Vane was the guest of honor and speaker.

Also attending was Col. Samuel Williams and Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Marble, who are the command team of the U.S. Army 8th ROTC Brigade responsible for the Western U.S, Hawaii and Guam region.
