New store, 'Mama Made' opens doors in downtown Lemoore

It was a busy week for ribbon cuttings. On July 11, a unique sort of co-op opened its doors at 339 West D Street in Lemoore. The new business, entitled “Mama Made” is a conglomeration of at least 12 small businesses under the same roof.  The ribbon cutting, hosted by the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce, was held Friday, July 15.

The business is open Monday through Saturday, normally from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

The founder of “Mama Made” is “Anchors Aweigh Designs” owner Amanda Henry. “We have 12 small businesses, housed under one roof,” said Henry. “We have a really good variety” of things to purchase at the store.

Other businesses include Christina Baltazar Photography, Hammock Designs and Photography, Handmade String Art & More, Ink and Thread (handmade quilts), Journey On Designs (handmade jewelry), The Little Imp Boutique (handmade-baby accessories), Nenis Soap Shop (handmade-soap and bath products), Pressed Rose Jewelry Co. (hand stamped jewelry and copper mugs, Sip and Shine (handmade glitter-dipped drinkware, Sweet P (handmade-children’s accessories, and Willow & Fig Co. (handmade baby moccasins and purses).
