Lemoore Lions prepare for annual Brewfest in the Park Aug. 27

Attendees to the Brewfest must be 21 years or older to attend the event. Ticket prices are $40 each, which includes live music and unlimited sampling of beer, wine, sausage, and other food from local restaurants. Soda and water is also included.

Designated driver tickets are available for $25 each and include everything except alcohol tasting. This year, the Lions are proud to announce as its musical guest, 51 Aces, will be returning to put on another great show for the crowd. Originally, Foreigner Unauthorized, was scheduled to perform, but the Lions Club was informed just this week that Foreigner Unauthorized could not make it this year.

This is the Lemoore Lions biggest and most successful fundraiser and is sponsored by the Bueno Beverage Company and numerous local businesses. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to various community organizations and causes, including the Lemoore Parks and Recreation Department, scholarships for local students, and the Lemoore Police Department’s Presents on Patrol and Shoe Drive programs.

The success of this event has also allowed the local club to make donations to the Lemoore Senior Center, the NAS Lemoore Aviator Memorial Association, the Lemoore Police Department’s Explorer program, Lemoore High School Sober Grad, and the Lemoore Police Activities League.

Tickets are available from Lemoore Lions Club members and can also be purchased on Friday evenings at the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce’s Rockin’ the Arbor events and at several of our sponsors in Lemoore, including the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce, the Lemoore Parks and Recreation Department, Vineyard Inn Restaurant, Best Buy Market, and in Hanford at Gonsalves-Fasso Florist, the Chicken Shack, and Mercado & Carniceria Del Valle.
