The Lemoore Lions, one of Lemoore’s most active clubs, put on another show Saturday night, greeting nearly 1,000 guests who showed up at the Lemoore Lions Park for sips of beer, corn-on-the-cob, good music and a whole lot of fun. The object of their desires? The annual Lemoore Lions’ Brewfest in the Park, held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Lemoore Lions biggest and most successful fundraiser was sponsored by the Bueno Beverage Company and numerous local businesses. Most of the proceeds are donated to various community organizations and causes, including the Lemoore Parks and Recreation Department, scholarships for local students, and the Lemoore Police Department’s Presents on Patrol and Shoe Drive programs.
In the past, the success of this event has also allowed the local club to make donations to the Lemoore Senior Center, the NAS Lemoore Aviator Memorial Association, the Lemoore Police Department’s Explorer program, Lemoore High School Sober Grad, and the Lemoore Police Activities League.
