Jessica Del Vecchio, a certified family nurse practitioner, has joined Adventist Health Physicians Network in Hanford. Del Vecchio graduated Magnum Cum Laude from University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a minor in psychology. She was a hematology and oncology nurse for nearly three years.

Wanting to further her relationships with patients and families, Del Vecchio decided to become a family nurse practitioner. She graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala.

Before arriving to the Central Valley, she was a nurse practitioner at Levine Cancer Institute and Carmel Family in Charlotte, N.C.

“I love patient connections,” she says. “I never want a patient to feel rushed. … They get my undivided attention, no matter how big or small their problem is.”

Del Vecchio grew up in Arvada, a small town in Colorado, so she’s loving the small town feel of Hanford. “I feel I’m going to make long-lasting personal and family friendships here,” she says.

In her free time, she teaches barre fitness (combination of Pilates and yoga). She also enjoys hiking and exploring national parks.

Del Vecchio may be reached at the Lacey Medical Plaza, 1524 W. Lacey Blvd., Ste. 105 in Hanford, with a phone number of 559-537-0405.
