Children in need of high-quality care will now find more pediatric services available at Adventist Health/Community Care – Hanford. Dr. Niazi Sidhom, a pediatrician who’s been caring for Adventist Health patients in Dinuba and Kingsburg, has joined the Hanford team.

He will be caring for young patients alongside Drs. Marifi Cabaluna, Giridhar Andhavarapu and Isam Dafdony, who is with Valley Children’s Medical Group.

“I enjoy the Central Valley,” says Dr. Sidhom. “The people here have strong values and are family-oriented.”

Dr. Sidhom grew up in Egypt and attended medical school at Alexandria University. He completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at El Galaa Hospital in Tripoli, Libya, and practiced obstetrics for four years before discovering a passion for pediatrics.

He completed his pediatric residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., and at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill. Dr. Sidhom has 23 years of experience as a pediatrician.

“I care for my patients as if they were my own children,” says Dr. Sidhom. “Whatever is good for my kids is good for my patients.”
