Adventist unveils a new brand direction for entire system

Earlier this year, Adventist Health unveiled a new brand direction for its entire system, including an expanded mission statement and core values that support its vision of transforming the health experience, outcomes, and status of its communities.

Adventist Health is excited to announce a key milestone on its branding journey -- the naming across its system that will be updated to reflect the “coming together” under one brand.

Starting this month, Adventist Health will use Adventist Health and the city’s name to represent its 17 medical centers and 200 clinics throughout California and Hawaii. For example, Adventist Medical Center – Hanford will change to Adventist Health Hanford, and Adventist Health / Community Care clinics will transform to Adventist Health Medical Offices. Community members will see changes to Adventist Health signage, advertising, and materials throughout the year. What won’t change is the faith-based, whole-person care that Adventist Health has been providing to the communities it has been privileged to serve for decades.

“The name changes reflect ONE Adventist Health and signal to our communities and employees that we’re all part of the same family,” says Andrea Kofl, President of Adventist Health / Central Valley Network. “With common names and a single purpose across our system, the work we do to achieve our mission is amplified and more powerful as one organization working together.”

As a more closely connected health system, Adventist Health will be able to share successes and best practices with one another to ensure Adventist Health communities receive the best care available and have an excellent experience every time.
