Armona man arrested by Kings County deputies on burglary, possession charges

Kings County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Armona man Tuesday (Aug. 1) at about 4 p.m. for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of drugs for sale, and possession of a butane honey oil lab.

Deputies, investigating a burglary, served a search warrant on Danny Almario’s residence at Christie Cir. in Armona. The Kings County Narcotic Task Force and the Kings County Gang Task Force helped with the investigation.

While searching the residence, deputies recovered approximately $50,000 worth of property apparently stolen earlier from a storage unit in Armona.

Deputies also discovered approximately one-half ounce of methamphetamine, about 10 pounds of marijuana, and equipment used in a butane honey oil lab.

Almario, 50, was arrested at the scene and booked into the Kings County Jail for burglary. Other charges included possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of a butane honey oil lab, and other drug related charges.

Almario's bail was set at $590,000.
