An experienced rheumatologist is now caring for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, tendinitis, lupus, vasculitis, myositis, a variety of joint pain and more at the Adventist Health Kerr Outpatient Center in Hanford and Medical Office – Hanford Specialty.

Growing up in Southern India, Dr. Srikanth Naramala had a family friend and neighbor who was a physician and truly loved his job. He witnessed how a physician could connect to his patients and touch their lives. “That struck me as the most vital aspect that defines a man,” says Dr. Naramala. “This inspired me to become the man I am today: compassionate, dedicated and understanding.”

After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. He completed an internship at King George Hospital in Andhra Pradesh and an Internal Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. He also completed a rheumatology fellowship from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and is board-certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Naramala’s focus is on providing non-surgical musculoskeletal care that’s both effective and cost conscious. His goal is to give patients the best rheumatologic care they need to live normal lives.

Dr. Naramala is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, hiking and fishing.
